Why a pendulum bench
A catalog swing is a poster. A hung bob is the movement.
Players arrive with a tempo they liked in a magazine. Barstow humidity does not read magazines. It reads whether the trough still sits under the ball after a January at Half Moon, and whether a six that looked athletic in a garage has already gone late at the crest.
Sigrid hangs the paper bob. Nels decides shorten, leave, or stop the gallows. Arvo names the river hours. Nobody here shortens a true bob to make a video happier.

Traces people actually hung
My six still felt quick. Sigrid hung a paper bob from the shaft and the trough sat four centimeters past the ball. We shortened. Phoenix Park stopped collecting fat scars.
They asked whether I play Half Moon in January or Water Street in June. I said both. Arvo said pick a season or keep two traces. Useful rudeness.
