The pallet is honest against a pin, not against a thumbnail.
Every morning Sigrid zeros the gallows on a pin we keep in the bench. If the zero drifted, the floor does not wind.
A thumbnail is a story. A pin is a number. Crest and trough are written on the card in centimeters, backswing and through-swing separate, because Chippewa gusts do not wear a path evenly.
